Conditions We Treat
What to Expect
Macromastia and Breast Asymmetry
You will begin by seeing our nurse practitioner, who will get a thorough history and physical examination. If your history and physical examination show it is safe for you to have surgery, you will be scheduled to meet with one of our surgeons, who will examine you, and discuss with you the best surgical approach for you. If needed, you can also meet with one of our psychologists to discuss any behavioral health concerns.
The last step before your surgery will be to get preauthorization from your insurance company. Our team will manage this process. Once it is approved, your surgery will be scheduled. The length of your surgery and recovery time after your surgery, will vary depending on the type of procedure that you will be undergoing.
