Employee Testimonials

Certified RN Anesthestists

I love the opportunity to take care of children and interacting with them, helping them through their journey to wellness. The CRNAs really work as a team and we’re always looking for what’s best for the children and how to best manage their care. We are doing a lot of new innovative things and learning more every day about how to treat them better.”

-Amber, CRNA
Neonatal NP

We have worked tirelessly to build one of the largest and best Neonatal APP teams in the country. I am constantly amazed and filled with pride at the exemplary care our APP team provides on a daily basis, often under very stressful situations. In addition to clinical care, they lead important quality and safety initiatives, and provide education, training and mentorship for many different health care provider trainees. Our Transition to Practice program for newly graduated neonatal APRNs is one of the few nationally accredited APRN Transition to Practice programs in the United States.”

-Erin, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

Nurse Practitioner

“I work with young women during a vulnerable time in their lives and it is important for me to help guide and encourage them towards a healthy, productive future. As a provider the focus is often on the ability to impact patients, but often it is my patients that inspire me! There is nothing more satisfying than helping a young woman address a medical concern and watching her leave with a sense of confidence.”

Dana, Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology

PA

“This is a great place to be. At Nationwide Children's, we see the beauty of medicine. The kids are heroes and fighters who recover from anything that medically comes their way. My joy is to see them in the morning saying, "I am going home today".”

Seth, Physician Assistant

Sarah

“I applied to work at Nationwide Children’s Hospital because of the supportive culture that is embedded throughout the organization. As a new NP at the time, support was crucial. I quickly learned that I am not only fully supported by the organization, but I am valued and respected by my physician colleagues and our leadership team. Collaborating physicians are available and willing to support me when I reach out, while simultaneously giving me the autonomy to work as an independent provider at the top of my scope of practice.”
